About Carol Perkins

Carol Perkins was a front-runner in providing quality early learning materials for Spanish speaking children in their early developmental years. She pioneered second language acquisition through use of music and movement.
Carol worked in Texas and the Southwest over several decades and played a key role in the creation of "Carascolendas," the first national television program targeting Spanish- and English-speaking children. Countless classroom teachers today grew up singing her songs as children 20 years ago.
